Most creators fail before they ever press record. Not because they lack talent — because they have no idea who they're actually talking to. If you can't answer these questions clearly, your content will always feel random. Do this once and everything gets easier.

Section 01

Who are you talking to?

Not "everyone." One specific person. The more specific you are here, the better your content will perform. Think about the person who would benefit most from what you create.

Describe your ideal viewer in one sentence

Age, situation, what they're trying to do or figure out. Be specific.

Where does this person spend their time online?

Which platforms? What type of content do they watch? Who do they already follow?

What does this person want more than anything?

The dream outcome. The thing they'd pay for. The life they're trying to build.

Section 02

What do they struggle with?

The best content speaks directly to a pain your audience already feels. Write like you know exactly what keeps them up at night.

What are the top 3 problems or frustrations your audience has?

What do they complain about? What's not working for them? What do they feel stuck on?

What does your audience believe that is holding them back?

The wrong beliefs, the myths they've bought into, the reasons they tell themselves they can't.

What have they already tried that hasn't worked?

This tells you what NOT to suggest and where the frustration runs deep.

Section 03

What do you bring to the table?

Your audience is everywhere. What makes them stop on YOUR content specifically? This is your angle — your unique perspective, experience, or approach.

What do you know or have experienced that your audience hasn't?

Results, mistakes, shortcuts, a different perspective. You don't need to be the best — just ahead of who you're talking to.

What's your honest take on your niche that most people won't say?

The contrarian opinion, the uncomfortable truth, the thing everyone thinks but nobody says out loud.

What's one thing you could teach your audience right now that would genuinely help them?

If you had 60 seconds with your ideal viewer, what's the one thing you'd want them to know?

Section 04

Bridge it into content

Now use what you just wrote to generate content angles. The formula is simple — take a pain or dream from Sections 1 and 2, combine it with your unique angle from Section 3, and you have a video idea.
